Putting good causes above profits
“Supporting the local community through employment opportunities and causes that make a difference has always been important to Diamond Box. We are extremely proud to support organisations in the area and employee more than 100 people from the West Midlands. As we grow, we will continue to look for opportunities that deliver more social value.”
Building water pumps in Africa
At Diamond Box, we know that keeping our team hydrated will help them perform at their best throughout the workday. As a result, we decided to invest in watercoolers from AquAid.
Our unique relationship with AquAid has also enabled us to help those less fortunate. Each purchase that we make, leads to an automatic donation to The Africa Trust.
These funds are used to build ‘Elephant Pumps’ – a modified version of an age-old Chinese rope pulley system. One such pump was installed in Africa on our behalf and continues to be a much-needed source of clean and fresh drinking water for many.
To date, AquAid have built more than 10,000 Elephant Pumps across parts of Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
Helping local clubs thrive
Supporting Singh Sabah Football Club
Diamond Box has been a proud supporter of Singh Sabah Football Club for the past five years.
Singh Sabah is an FA Charter Standard, non-profit making club. It believes that all children should play and enjoyed the game of football for free. Founded in 2001, the football club has become an important part of the local community in Smethwick.
Supporting Brushstokes’ Food & Clothing Bank
Helping our local community at Christmas time
Each year, we are pleased to donate £1,000 to our local charity Brushstrokes.
The charity provides practical resources to the destitute, homeless and others living in extreme poverty. Our donation goes towards the funding of its Food & Clothing Bank at Christmas time. This enables Brushstrokes to give out non-perishable food items, clothing, blankets and bedding, and other essential household items when people need it most.
